Character and emphasis The Nederlands Goud-, Zilver- en Klokkenmuseum is dedicated to the history of the crafts of the gold- and silversmiths and that of the clock- and watchmakers, with an emphasis on design and technique practised in the Netherlands. Apart from the works itself, it documents the craftsmen's techniques; the history of the gold- and silverassay and the hallmarks used; and chronometry. The library reflects the museum's collection.
