Character and emphasis The library of the History of Art and Architecture section is part of the Arts Faculty Library of Groningen University. The collection covers the history of Western art and architecture since the Early-Christian period, with special emphasis on the Middle Ages, Italian painting from the 14th to 16th centuries, 19th and 20th century art, 19th and 20th century architecture and urban planning, the scientific analysis of works of art and management and policy in the arts.
