Character and emphasis The Rijksmuseum Twenthe was founded in 1930. The library, dating from 1934, mainly documents the collection of the museum: art from the late twelfth century until today. Special points of interest (of both museum and library) are 18th century Dutch paintings, drawings, prints and contemporary Dutch art.
