Conditions of use Free entrance for consultation. Loan on presentation of a library card, available free of charge from the circulation desk in the Delft University Library's main building, Prometheusplein 1, Delft, on presentation of a personal ID with photograph and a proof of residence (not older than two months) preferably at an address in the Netherlands.

Character and emphasis Today the faculty library (1905) and its documentation centre (1950) are integrated in the Delft University of Technology Library but located in a separate building. They are specialized in architecture, building technology, physical planning, housing, urban design, landscape architecture and the history, sociology, psychology and economics of building and housing.
Special collections
- The Peters Collection (acquired 1927) and the Leliman Library (acquired in 1929), consisting of books on architecture and town planning and their history, as well as architectural and topographical drawings and prints, covering a period from the late 16th to the early 20th century.
- Various bibliographies, available as databases on CD-ROM through the Delft University network, as stand alone CD-ROM, in printed form or as a tradional card system
- A special local network is providing the Architectural Publications Index on disc and a home made database (ABSIS), documenting life and work of designers from the Netherlands and Belgium, as well as individual buildings and examples of building technology, and urban, landscape and regional plans if located in the Netherlands and Belgium.
- The faculty building also houses a slide library with 60.000 slides

- The On-line Union Catalogue of Delft University of Technology Library gives access to the holdings of the central location and of the different faculty libraries, including their map rare books collections. The catalogue is accessible on Internet: http://www.library.tudelft.nl
